Q: What is the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?
Louis: “On week days I make my boys their morning tea and enjoy my first of many cups of DANDO coffee before getting ready for work. On weekends my day starts with an early morning training session.”
Q: Is there something even your close friends do not know about you?
Louis: “Uhm, I don’t think so… I am a fairly open person. So if there are any questions, let’s go for coffee.”
Q: If you were a biscuit, which would you be?
Louis: “Chocolate chip YUM!! Just the right balance between sweet and salt and full of surprises.”
Q: What is the hardest part of competing at this level?
Louis: “I think finding time to put in the necessary effort, juggling between work and family time. Besides God, my wife and children are the most important things in my life. I am a “family man” first, so most of my training happens early morning while they are still asleep. Luckily for me they prefer to sleep late over weekends.”
Q: Why did you decide to become a DANDO Ambassador?
Louis: “Ultimately I share the same passion as DANDO, to change lives by doing what I love most. This is a great opportunity to team up with a group of ordinary, hardworking people who care and are passionate about giving back and helping others.”
